Minimum wage update
FRANCE
When they are displaced as a result of:
- Carrying out non-bilateral international transport or cabotage operations with heavy vehicles of more than 3.5 tons (goods) or with vehicles with a capacity of more than 9 seats (passengers);
- Carrying out international transport (bilateral or non-bilateral) or cabotage operations with light vehicles up to 3.5 tons (goods) or with vehicles with a capacity of up to 9 seats (passengers).
As of January 1, 2024, the French legal minimum wage (Interprofessional) is €11.65 per gross hour, representing an increase of 1.13%.
However, it is important to remember that French social regulations in the road transport sector determine the professional qualifications of workers based on whether they are transporting goods or passengers. Within each category, there are several groups, each with a minimum gross hourly wage as detailed in the French National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Road Transport.
